Dairy Queen confirms computer systems at 395 of its stores nationwide may have been compromised, including five locations in Maryland and Virginia.
The stores had their computer systems infected with malware, which was active for a good chunk of August, although the dates vary slightly by location.
Customer names, card numbers and expiration dates were compromised, but no Social Security numbers or PINs, said Dairy Queen.
The company says they've taken care of the problem, but are offering a free year of credit identity repair to anyone who believes they've been affected by the breach.
